Hi, welcome to my next trip report.  This trip is special because it is my furthest trip since starting the blog in August.  The object of the trip, as I wrote about before, was to move from United Airlines Premier Gold to Premier Platinum.  I only allotted myself two days in Singapore so I wanted visit a few sites and eat some good food.

I started off the trip at the AMEX Centurion Lounge at DFW International Airport.  The lounge feels cramped but provides good food and beverage options.

It was followed by a visit to the United Club at LAX.  The lounge while spacious, offered limited food and beverage options.

I got to try United Airlines’ longest flight.  Even though it was in Economy Plus, I survived.

During my time in Singapore, I decided to stay at the Intercontinental Singapore.  The hotel did not disappoint.

I played tourist for a couple of days.  I visited the Marina Bay area…

and ate a lot of food.

Before I left Singapore, I used Priority Pass to access the SATS Premier Lounge in Changi International Airport’s Terminal 2.

I hopped on the return flight to Los Angeles and received this…

When I got to LA, I had a difficult time with missed connections but it all worked out in the end.

To end the trip, I stayed at the DFW Marriott Airport and the room did not disappoint.

I had a great time in Singapore.  If you have never visited, you do not know what you are missing.  Again, welcome to my next trip report.  I hope you enjoy it.
