I pride myself on finding cheap flights, maximizing rewards programs, and all things in between. You can imagine my disbelief when a friend told me about the Verizon Up rewards program (I have been a Verizon customer for six years). Here is a brief overview of the program.
Verizon customers must enroll through the app. It is located on the left menu under, second from the top. Enrollment is free.
You will receive one reward credit for every $300 that you spend on your monthly Verizon bill. It was a no brainer for me to sign up. After I passed the $300 threshold, I had 60 days to redeem my reward before it expired. I chose to go with half off of an Uber ride, up to $10. This is one of the lowest redemptions, but it met my needs.
I now have my second reward credit. Below is a list of redemptions available on the Verizon app.
These options are different from the ones that were available last month. How do I know? I wanted to get the Uber credit again so that I could use it on my upcoming trip to China.
Again, I felt that I had to alert you all to this ‘free’ money being offered by Verizon. If you knew about this already, shame on you for not telling me about it.
Have you used Verizon Up rewards?
