Humbled: Nine Months of the Phillips Loop Blog

First off, I cannot believe that it has been nine months since I started this blog. These months have been some of the most liberating ones that I have ever experienced. Having this blog allows me to share a snapshot of my travel. While it has been fun, operating the blog and social media has turned into a second full time job.

Five months ago, I wrote a post detailing my first few months of blogging. I have learned so much more since then. One of things that I learned was that Google AdSense is easy to sign up for and equally easy to lose. Another thing that stood out to me was that even though I am providing honest feedback, some people will take offense. I understand it and I welcome the feedback.

The blog has grown from 887 views in the first month to over 2,700 views for the month of April. Wow! While that might not be a large amount to most people, I am humbled that so many people take the time out to read my site. There are currently 252 posts. My goal is to reach 400 by the end of the year.

Here are the nine most viewed posts from the past nine months:

Review: American Airlines (MD-80) Business Class Dallas to Memphis
Review: United Airlines (757-300) First Class from Boston to Chicago
Review: United Airlines (787-900) Economy Plus Los Angeles to Singapore
Review: United Airlines (A320) First Class Dallas to Washington

Final Word
The plan is to continue producing content that is authentic and engaging. This experience has truly opened my eyes and I am forever grateful. I cannot say this enough, but I thank each and every one of you for reading, commenting, sharing and even just talking about this site.
