If you have been following me since I began this blog, you would know that I have changed the layout of my pages a handful of times. The last change to layout gave my site a sleek design, but it was not very functional. The menus were masked in the header, the ‘follow us’ buttons were buried in the footer, and the sidebar, which included archives and Google translate, was not functional. My plan was to fix it on a weekend, but never did. The content on the site grew due to trips to Boston, Nashville, and Asia, which was my main focus. The social media presence also became a priority. This meant that the layout of the blog became an afterthought, until today.

I made changing the layout of the site my #1 priority for the day. It took some time, but I was able to get it done. I am happy with the update. The main menu is now unmasked for every visitor to see. The sidebar is now visible and includes archives, translate, ‘follow us’, and a YouTube subscribe button. I feel that this new look will give visitors ease of movement on the site. Have a look at the mobile and desktop versions below.
