Introduction: A Short, but “Suite” Stay in Dallas
Review: Ichiro Ramen Shop
Review: Marriott Suites Medical Center – Dallas
Review: Oishii
Review: Gen Korean BBQ House
Hi, welcome to my next trip report. If you have been following along for some time, you know that I cannot stay in one place for a long time. I need to travel to keep my sanity. It does not matter if I fly to Asia or travel to Dallas for the weekend. This trip was the latter. I had a free weekend a few weeks ago so I decided to spend it in Dallas.
I decided stay at the Marriott Suites located at the Medical Center in Dallas. This was a hotel that I reviewed before while I still in the first few months of blogging. I figured that an updated review was in order.

I have eaten at many places in Dallas, to include Mr. Max Izakaya, Sushi Sake, and Sura Korean Bistro. Sensing a theme yet? The Dallas Metroplex has some great Asian restaurants. I decided to try a few different ones on this trip (don’t judge me). My first stop was at Ichiro Ramen Shop. It was an unsuspecting shop located in north Dallas.

The next restaurant that I visited was Oishii. It was located a few minutes from the Marriott Suites on Wycliff Avenue. The name “Oishii” means delicious and this place was definitely that.

The last place that I visited before returning home to Wichita Falls was Gen Korean BBQ House. I am not gonna lie, I had never heard of it until a few minutes before I stopped in. Gen is a chain restaurant, something that I do not like reviewing, but it did not feel that way. The place was gorgeous and the food was amazing.

Final Word
Again, this is only an introduction. Please follow along in the coming days for more in depth reviews. Thanks for reading.
