Hi, welcome to the last installment of the blog’s year in review. I have covered the first, second, and third quarters of 2018 during the past week. Compared to the previous quarters, the fourth was the slowest.
The fourth quarter started with a return trip to Costa Rica. I usually travel alone but one of friends wanted to tag along. After missing a flight from Oklahoma City and another one from Miami, we were happy to finally arrive after traveling for more than 30 hours. The highlight of the trip was the wine festival that we stumbled upon at the Costa Rica Marriott.

My final trip of the year took me on a road trip to Oklahoma City and San Antonio. I had to be in both cities for my main job, in consecutive weeks. While in OKC, I was able to spend some time at The Garage in Del City. It was a really cool place, with amazing food. After a couple of days in OKC, I made the drive to San Antonio. Per the locals that I spoke with, a person could eat at a different restaurant every day for a year without repeating. I put this to the test by eating at three different places. Out of the three, Mash’d at The Rim was my favorite. The food was delicious and the moonshine infused drinks were eclectic. I was impressed with the location of The Gristmill Restaurant in Gruene, Texas, but the food left a lot to be desired.

Final Word
The year allowed me to grow personally and professionally. I cannot wait to see what 2019 has to offer. Thank you for your continued support, have a happy new year.
