Hi, welcome to my next trip report. This report will include all of the trials and tribulations (joking) that occurred during my quick round trip to Los Angeles International Airport. The entire intent of this booking was to visit Priority Pass Lounges at Houston Intercontinental and Los Angeles International Airports. I did accomplish some of the reviews that I wanted, but not all. Additionally, I found a hidden gem in the United Airlines’ Lounge in Terminal 7.
The trip started in the worst possible way imaginable…snow storm, rude flight attendant, and involuntarily moved to a middle seat…you can view the 7 Things That Went Wrong During My Trip to LAX for the back story.
I wanted to visit Cadillac Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar and the Air France Lounge, but visits to both were not in the cards so I stuck with Cadillac. The restaurant was understaffed, but not crowded, so I enjoyed my short visit.

After chilling at Cadillac, it was time to board my flight to LAX. The flight was operated by one of United Airlines domestically configured 777-200s. I was excited for the experience, until I was involuntarily swapped to a middle seat.

Once at LAX, I made a beeline for the United Club in Terminal 7 to calm down. I had access thanks to the two annual free passes that I receive from the United Explorer Card. I was pleasantly surprised to see the improved food.

After a short time at the United Club, I made my way to the Alaska Airlines Lounge in Terminal 6. This Priority Pass Lounge was restricted for users due to occupancy issues, but I was able to gain access.
To conclude my Priority Pass Lounge tour, I checked out Yankee Pier in San Francisco International Airport’s Terminal 3. The place was crowded but I was able to grab a seat at the bar.

Final Word
This trip was one for the ages (not mine, lol). It was stressful, but fun at the same time, if that makes sense. I love to travel so if it is good, bad, or indifferent, count me in. Thanks for following along and remember, this only the introduction, the full blog posts are coming soon.
