Review: Boutique Air PC-12 Dallas to Clovis
Review: Boutique Air PC-12 Clovis to Dallas
CVN – DFW
Flight time: 1hr 45min
March 3, 2019
For my return flight, I decided to show up to the airport nearly 45 minutes before the scheduled departure. I kind of strayed from the plan when I returned to my friend’s house to recover my camera.
I made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare, but the fight was delayed. The agent asked me how long because FlightRadar24 seemed to have better info than them.
During the wait, I decided to check out the terminal. There was a main seating area just to the left of the check in counter. The seats were arranged in a weird pattern, there was three “entrances” to the seats as opposed to having all seats be accessible. Two vending machines were on the far wall and complimentary beverage station was to the left of the main entrance to the terminal.
The terminal also had a library which I thought was a cool idea. Passengers could read while in the terminal or take a book for the flight. On the far side of the terminal, near the restrooms, was a small seating area and the pilot’s lounge. While there was room to stretch out in this part of the terminal, I did not like the proximity the toilets.
The PC-12 landed 10 minutes after our scheduled departure. One of the pilots began to deice the aircraft with the handle of a screwdriver and some fluid in an insect repellent bucket. The ice is on the ground and deicing fluid jug under the PC-12 in the pictures below.
We were finally about to board, nearly 30 minutes after scheduled departure. I decided to sit in the last row of the aircraft for a different perspective.
The legroom in the last row was nonexistent. I am only 5ft 8in but still could not sit in the seat straight. I took a picture of the seat in the next row for comparison. Note: there was a small placard which stated the seats in the last row were not to be occupied during takeoffs or landings.
We had a rolling takeoff out of Clovis. The seatbelt sign was turned off just a few minutes into the flight. I made my way up to check out the snack selection since I did not try any on the previous flight. The snacks included peanuts, water, and Diet Pepsi.
After just an hour, we began our descent into Dallas. The landing was very smooth. During the taxi, we had the pleasure of seeing an American Airlines 787 depart for Cancun (should have been me).
We arrived at the Corporate Air parking after about 10 minutes, only 30 minutes behind schedule. Our PC-12 taxied in next to a Boutique Air Beechcraft King Air.
As I mentioned in the previous review, I am happy that I got to try this airline. Everything about the airline’s operation is simple and very much appreciated. I would not hesitate to fly with them again.

Sounds so simple and seamless Rob. Plus an old skool de-icing technique 😉
