On a random day in March, I was on the Marriott Bonvoy subreddit and learned there was such a thing as a complimentary Lifetime Platinum Elite gift. Did y’all know this??? If you did, exit the page the page now. If you did not, stick around and I will tell you about the process and show you the gift.
I ran, did not walk, to the Marriott Lifetime Elite website. I logged in and was greeted with the following.
The first thing I saw after the welcome screen was the option to receive a complimentary gift. There was an option to accept or decline it. The gift: complimentary luggage tags.
The site ended with giving me an overview of my stays with Marriott. I might have stayed with Marriott Hotels a little bit over the years.
A little less than three weeks after requesting the complimentary gift, I received a text from FEDEX saying a package would be delivered the next day. I had no idea what it was because I forgot about the Marriott order.

The outside was sturdy and it definitely held up traveling across the country. The design was economical and durable.
There were two luggage tags, Journey and Milestone, inside the package. One was black while the other was colorful. The memo inside the fold provides insight as to why the colors were chosen:

Simple and sleek, this luggage tag highlights your lasting achievement with metal detailing.
The two luggage tags were the same color on the outside but were different when flipped over. This is when I could see the difference between the Journey and Milestone tags.
It is also worth mentioning that underneath the leather was a traveler locator card. I think this was super cool as well because you can not see the locator card without pulling the leather back.
Final Word
Thanks to a subreddit I was able to request and receive a complimentary Lifetime Marriott Elite gift. While I did not know about this until six weeks ago, I am happy to share my experience with you all. I cannot wait to use my luggage tags on the next adventure!
