Is a “Paid Upgrade” to Air France A350 Exit Row Worth It?

As I have been preparing to return to the states in the coming days, the thoughts of the forgettable outbound segment in Air France’s Economy Class Duo Seats has lingered in my head. The thought of enduring the madness again, and for an even longer duration, seemed like I enjoy punishment. Well, I have a solution…I think.

I purchased Exit Row seats in the front Economy Class cabin for $56 USD. I figured this would give us more leg room, keep other guests from reclining into our laps, and just an overall better experience.

The only hiccup is that Air France requires passengers to be at least 12 years of age when occupying those seats. Well, Nicholas is just a few years short of that mark but I was able to purchase the upgrade using his information. 🤞🏿

Final Word

I jokingly told Nicholas he would have to lie if someone asked if he was 12. He said, “uh uh, I ain’t getting for trouble for you. We are just gonna have to move seats”. 🙄 He did not have to do me like that. I guess we will find out soon enough if our exit row upgrade was successful.
