Earlier today I received a targeted mileage bonus offer from United Airlines’ MileagePlus. The ‘bonus’ would be 2,500 miles after I spend $3500 between 1 October and 31 December.
LOL. No thank you. This is a terrible offer, almost insulting. For instance, if you are a new cardholder, you would have to spend $2000 in three months to receive a 40,000 mile bonus. This offer makes no fiscal sense. I have other credit cards that offer way better spend bonuses. A better offer would be appreciated United.
