The Dallas Marriott Suites Medical/Market Center is located approximately 10 minutes from Mudhen restaurant. It is accessible from Interstate 35E.
Booking
Since I was only staying in Dallas for a night, I looked for the cheapest Marriott property. This night would get me closer to renewing my Gold status for 2018. The cost for the one night was $131. I paid using my Marriott Rewards credit card which netted me 655 points.
Arrival
The hotel is located off of the frontage road, on the opposite side of the highway from the Children’s Medical Center-Dallas. Parking was complimentary for all guests.
Check-In
As you enter the automatic doors, the front desk is to your left.
The lobby was spacious and included a nice sitting area.

I completed check in through the Marriott mobile app and was in my room in a matter of minutes.
Room
The room was located on the 11th floor. I made a left from the elevator and the room was at the far end of the hall, on the right.
The couch and desk are directly in front of you as you enter the room.

To the left of that is the bedroom.
After making another left, you enter the bathroom.
Continuing straight ahead will lead you into the shower/toilet area.
Dining
The hotel has a bar in the lobby where you can grab a drink or bite from the menu.
There is also a sit down restaurant, Allies American Grill, adjacent to the bar.
Lastly, there was a small menu for room service in the room.
Lounge
There was a lounge on site but I did not get pictures because it was not open during my stay.
Fitness
The hotel has a fitness center but I did not see signage for it. Below is a picture from the hotel’s website.
Final Word
The hotel served its purpose for the short overnight stay. I was not thrilled with the property but it was definitely better than the Crowne Plaza.
