Yesterday, I wrote about United Airlines being the first major airline the United States to issue travel waivers for Winter Storm Harper. This storm will affect most of the United States, with most of the snow dumped on the New England states this weekend. American Airlines has now issued travel waivers for the following locations:
If you’re traveling to/through/from:
- Albany, New York (ALB)
- Bangor, Maine (BGR)
- Boston, Massachusetts (BOS)
- Buffalo, New York (BUF)
- Burlington, Vermont (BVT)
- Erie, Pennsylvania (ERI)
- Ithaca, New York (ITH)
- Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT)
- Montreal, Canada (YUL)
- Ottawa, Canada (YOW)
- Portland, Maine (PWM)
- Rochester, New York (ROC)
- Syracuse, New York (SYR)
- Toronto, Canada (YYZ)
- Watertown, New York (ART)
- Worcester, Massachusetts (ORH)
The change fee may be waived if you:
- Are traveling on an American Airlines flight
- Bought your ticket by January 16, 2019
- Are scheduled to travel January 19-20, 2019
- Can travel January 16-23, 2019
- Don’t change your origin or destination city
- Rebook in the same cabin or pay the difference.
