Hello from Singapore. I just landed after a six hour flight from Beijing. Prior to that, I flew 13 hours from Newark to Beijing. The flight was not bad at all, I would venture to call it superb. The flight attendants, Frank, Vanessa, and Valerie were all great (I will have more on them in a separate post).
While I will have a full review in the coming days, I will share a few pictures and initial thoughts of the flight.
I was hesitant booking United’s “old” business class product, but the seat was exceptional. While there was not much privacy, I was able to get almost five hours of sleep.

The food was ok. I had an issue with the salad that I was served, but the pork noodles and grilled cheese with tomato soup made up for that.

I appreciated that United still offers wine flights (upon request). I had a white wine flight. It included a saugvignon blanc, chardonnay, and burgans albarino. All three were decent, but I preferred the burgans.

Again, this was just a brief introduction to my United Airlines business class experience. The full review will be up shortly. Until then, I have to go explore Beijing.
