Good evening from Fort Worth. I recently returned from Costa Rica (I will have the full review later) where I had one of the most gut wrenching moments in my life. My friend and I went to a pool party, where we reserved some lounges on the far side of the pool. We were having a great time listening to music and having some drinks. The drinks piled up and I eventually had to use the restroom, which happened to be on the opposite side of the pool from us. There were two routes to the restroom. I could choose to take the long way around the pool or walk on a stone path in the middle of the pool. I chose the stone path. I knew this was not the best route, but I felt like The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson when they decided to aim for the bushes in ‘The Other Guys’.
As I returned from the restroom, there was a couple dancing on the stones. I maneuvered around them every so slightly, so I thought. I was just past the guy when his girlfriend threw her body into him which caused him to bump me…SPLASH. I, accompanied by my sombrero, wallet, and cell phone, was in the water. I immediately climbed out of the water to check on my iPhone X. I peeled opened the LifeProof FRE Series Waterproof case to find that my phone was completely dry.
