(part 1 of the trip to Boston)
I enjoyed my time in Boston, as I always do, but before long it was time to continue my mini vacation in Nashville, Tennessee. Disclaimer, I am from Mississippi (about four hours from Nashville) and had only been to the city once before as an adult. That visit occurred in the summer of 2016 for a vow renewal ceremony for some friends. I really enjoyed the city and looked forward to visiting again. I was especially looking to eating some Nashville Hot Chicken.
I searched for flights to Nashville on United Airlines, but all of them required a stopover. Ultimately, I decided to purchase a one way ticket on Delta Airlines. Prior to the flight, I stopped by the Delta Sky Club in Terminal A which was not far from the TSA checkpoint.
After the visiting the lounge, I made my way to the gate (which was crowded) for my flight. The flight had some of the worse service and food that I have experienced (more on that in the full review).
I arrived in Nashville ready to explore the city, but I could not do so without checking into my hotel first. The Marriott Vanderbilt was in a great location.
My first stop in the city was Hattie B’s Hot Chicken!
After stuffing myself at Hattie B’s, I decided that I should walk down to Two Bits to play some arcade games and have a few drinks, especially the Yoshi’s Revenge drink.
Next on Nashville list was Biscuit Love. It was as awesome as I had remembered.
During a stroll through downtown, I came across the Country Music Hall of Fame so I had to check it out.
Before I knew it, it was time to leave Nashville. I hopped a cramped United Airlines flight to Houston.
To relax while in Houston, I decided to check out the American Express Centurion Lounge. This one was more spacious than the Dallas AMEX Centurion Lounge. I did not have much time, so I do not know if they offer spa services.
Lastly, I made my way to the gate to take the short flight to Dallas. If you remember, this is where I destroyed a camera lens.
Thank you all for following along on my adventures, I hope you enjoy reading about Nashville.
